Cuban Hash Recipe
- 2 tbsp. oil
- 1/4 c. diced green pepper
- 1/4 c. minced onion
- 1/4 c. minced mushrooms
- 1 pound hamburger
- 1 can (1 pound 12 ounce.) tomatoes
- 1/4 c. sliced, stuffed olives
- 1/4 c. raisins
- 1/4 c. slivered almonds
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- Saute/fry green pepper, onion and mushrooms till golden brown.
- Add in meat and cook over moderate heat till browned.
- Add in tomatoes, olives, raisins, almonds, salt and pepper.
- Cover and simmer for 20 min.
- Serve over rice.
- Serves 4.
