Crockpot Chili Sirloin
- 1 1/2 pound beef, sirloin steak cut into cubes
- 1 each green bell peppers diced
- 1 each sweet red bell peppers diced
- 1 each jalapeno pepper remove seeds if you don't like it hot
- 28 ounces tomatoes, canned of fresh whole, chopped
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 can beer optional
- 4 slices bacon cooked crisp
- This receipe works great in a slow cooker for approx.
- 8 hrs.
- if you don't have one, cook on low for at least 2 hours.
- Slightly brown the steak cubes in the bacon fat, drain and then add remaining ingredients.
- Simmer as mentioned above.
- Top with shredded cheedar and raw onions.
