Simply The Best Strawberry Cake Ever

  1. First....thaw strawberries and drain in a collendar over a bowl to catch the liquid.
  2. After well drained, spread the strawberries out on several layers of paper towels...cover with paper towels to dry as much as possible.
  3. Mix the cake as directed using the reserved strawberry juice in place of the water.
  4. Bake as directed...I have done 9x13, layers and cupcakes...all work fine.
  5. After cake cools, make frosting by mixing butter and cream cheese well.
  6. Add vanilla and dried strawberries, mix well.
  7. Add powdered sugar a bit at a time and beat until creamy.
  8. Frost cake and refrigerate for best flavor and texture.
  9. Frosting will be soft and lovely!
