Pan-Seared Steak Skillet
- 1/4 cup KRAFT Lite Zesty Italian Dressing, divided
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. dried thyme leaves, divided
- 1 beef sirloin steak (1 lb.), 1/2 inch thick Whole Foods 1 lb For $7.99 thru 02/09
- 1 pkg. (6 oz.) STOVE TOP Stuffing Mix for Chicken
- 1/2 lb. sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1 small onion, chopped King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- 3 Tbsp. BREAKSTONE'S Reduced Fat or KNUDSEN Light Sour Cream
- 1 lb. fresh green beans, trimmed, cooked
- Mix 2 Tbsp.
- dressing, garlic and 3/4 tsp.
- thyme until blended; brush onto both sides of steak in shallow dish.
- Refrigerate 1 hour to marinate.
- Heat large heavy skillet on medium heat.
- Add steak; cook 5 to 6 min.
- on each side or until medium doneness (160F).
- Meanwhile, prepare stuffing mix as directed on package, except reduce the margarine to 1 Tbsp.
- Heat remaining dressing in same skillet on medium-high heat.
- Add mushrooms, onions and remaining thyme; stir.
- Cook 5 min.
- or until onions are crisp-tender, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in sour cream.
- Cut steak across the grain into thin slices; place on platter.
- Top with mushroom mixture.
- Serve with stuffing and beans.
