Potatoes Elegante

  1. Rinse potatoes and then dry on paper towels.
  2. Brush 1 tablespoon of margarine onto bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie plate.
  3. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon cheese.
  4. Coat potatoes with remaining margarine.
  5. Arrange single layer of potatoes on bottom and sides of pie plate.
  6. Sprinkle with cheese.
  7. Repeat layers.
  8. Bake at 400F for 1 hour or until potatoes are tender.
  9. Invert immediately onto serving plate.
