Home Canned Barbecue Sandwich Filling

  1. Combine first 8 ingredients.
  2. Tie pickling spices in a cheesecloth bag.
  3. add to sauce.
  4. cover and simmer 15 minutes.
  5. remove the spice bag.
  6. and add the meat to the sauce.
  7. Cover, heat.
  8. Pack into hot jars, leaving 1 inch head space.
  9. Adjust the lids.
  10. Process in pressure canner at 10 pounds, 75 minutes for pints.
  11. BEFORE SERVING:.
  12. Boil uncovered 10 minutes before tasting or using.
  13. Serve on your favorite bun.
