My Go-To Dish Sweet & Sour Chicken for Chicken Lovers
- 200 grams Chicken thigh meat
- 1 tbsp Sake
- 1/2 tsp Ginger (grated)
- 1/2 tsp Garlic (grated)
- 2/3 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 Salt and pepper
- 1 Katakuriko
- 1/3 Carrot
- 1/2 Onion
- 3 Shitake mushrooms
- 50 grams Bamboo shoot (cooked and preserved in water)
- 2 Green peppers
- 1 Oil for cooking, frying
- 3 tbsp Sugar
- 3 tbsp Rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp Sake
- 1/2 tsp Chinese chicken stock powder
- 100 ml Water
- 1 tbsp Katakuriko
- Combine all of the ingredients for the sweet vinegar sauce.
- Add the sweet vinegar sauce.
- Mix well before marinating, since the katakuriko will settle.
- Mix everything together well.
- While marinating, cook the vegetables, starting with the root vegetables.
- Once the vegetables have cooked, add the fried chicken.
- Add the sweet vinegar sauce, mixing well before adding.
- Mix everything together well.
- It's ready to serve.
