Double Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies Recipe

• 1 1/2 c. sugar
• 1 c. butter, softened
• 1 egg
• 1/4 c. water
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 1/4 c. flour
• 1/3 c. cocoa
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 3 c. quick cooking oatmeal
• 6 ounce. semi sweet chocolate chips

1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Mix sugar, butter, egg, water and vanilla.
3. Stir in remaining ingredients.
4. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonsful about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
5. Bake till almost no indentation remains when touched.
6. 10 to 12 min.
