Beef & Bean Chili

  1. Heat oil in a large pot.
  2. Brown together ground beef, onion, and garlic.
  3. Drain well.
  4. Add all remaining ingredients, including spices.
  5. Mix well and bring to a boil.
  6. Note: add corn closer to serving the chilli if you prefer a crunchier texture.
  7. Simmer uncovered for 30 min, stirring often.
  8. Cover and simmer for 60-90 minute Add tomato juice or water if consistency is too thick / simmer uncovered if too runny.
  9. Serve with biscuits / buns / bread.
