Everyones Favorite Mac and Cheese
- 3 Tablespoons Butter
- 2 Tablespoons Flour
- 2- 1/2 cups Milk
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Dry Mustard
- 4 cups Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- 12 ounces, weight Macaroni Noodles
- Melt butter in sauce pan; add flour and mix together to make a roux.
- Let the roux cook for a few minutes, being careful not to burn it.
- Slowly add the milk, stir and allow it to thicken for about 5 minutes.
- Add salt and dry mustard, then the shredded cheese, stirring until cheese is melted.
- Remove from heat.
- After cooking the noodles and allowing them to drain, combine them with the cheese mixture.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased casserole dish and bake at 350F for 35 minutes.
