Sweet Chili Sauce
- 2 tsp. vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced (2 tsp.)
- 1 1-inch piece fresh ginger, peeled and grated
- 1/2 cup hoisin sauce
- 2 Tbs. honey
- 1 Tbs. low-sodium soy sauce or tamari
- 2 tsp. sambal oelek, or more to taste
- Heat oil in saucepan over medium heat.
- Add garlic and ginger, and saute 2 minutes, or until fragrant.
- Stir in remaining ingredients, and heat 1 to 2 minutes more.
- Cool before serving.
