Turkey With A Twist Recipe
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1 tbsp. flour
- 1 1/2 c. prepared Hidden Valley Ranch salad dressing, original flavor
- 1 1/2 c. cubed, cooked turkey
- 3 ounce. twisted noodles (spinach flavor if available)
- 1/2 (10 ounce.) pkg. frzn peas, thawed
- 1/3 c. canned diced green chilies, liquid removed
- 1/8-1/4 teaspoon pepper (opt.)
- 3 tbsp. 3 tbsp. bread crumbs
- 1 tbsp. melted butter
- Tomato wedges (opt.)
- Saute/fry onion in butter till tender.
- Stir in flour and cook till smooth and bubbly; remove from heat.
- Combine salad dressing, turkey, noodles, peas, chilies, and pepper.
- Stir in onion mix.
- Pour into shallow 1 1/2 qt casserole.
- Mix bread crumbs and butter and sprinkle over casserole.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 min.
- Garnish top with tomato wedges if you like.
- Makes 6 servings.
