Seriously Good! Sweet-Salty Nagoya Style Chicken Spare Ribs
- 500 grams Chicken wings (middle section)
- 4 tbsp Soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Mirin
- 2 tbsp Light brown sugar (or white sugar)
- 1 Grated garlic
- 3 tbsp Water
- 1 Plain flour
- 1 Pepper
- 1 White sesame seeds
- 1 Vegetable oil
- Put the chicken wings and flour into a plastic bag, and coat the wings evenly with the flour.
- Put the ingredients into a small bowl, and mix together.
- Heat oil in a pan and pan fry the chicken wings.
- Start over high heat, and when the chicken has started to brown, turn down the heat to medium-low.
- Brown patiently.
- Turn the wings over.
- When they're browned on all sides, add the combined ingredients, and simmer while stirring over high heat.
- Add plenty of black pepper.
- Transfer to a serving plate, scatter sesame seeds and they're done.
- If you prefer crispy wings, use less of the seasonings.
