Shortcake For Strawberries Recipe

• 2 c. flour
• 2 tbsp. sugar
• 3 teaspoon baking pwdr
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 c. butter
• 1 beaten egg
• 2/3 c. lowfat milk

1. Sift dry ingredients.
2. Cut in butter till coarse crumbs.
3. Combine egg and lowfat milk.
4. Add in all at once.
5. Stir till moistened.
6. Spread into greased round cake pan, building up edge.
7. Bake at 450 degrees for 15 min.
