Molasses Cranberry Crinkles
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup Land O Lakes Butter, softenend
- 1/4 cup full flavor molasses
- 1 Land O Lakes Egg, slightly beaten
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly grated orange zest
- 1/2 cup chopped sweetened dried cranberries
- Turbinado (raw) sugar
- Heat oven to 350F.
- Combine flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, salt and cloves in bowl; set aside.
- Combine sugar and butter in another bowl; beat at medium speed until well mixed.
- Add molasses, egg and orange zest; continue beating until well mixed.
- Add flour mixture gradually to butter mixture, beating at low speed after each addition.
- Stir in cranberries.
- Place turbinado sugar into small bowl.
- Shape dough into 1 1/4-inch balls; dip tops into sugar.
- Place 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake 10-13 minutes or until set.
