Orange Dessert Ring with Fruit

  1. Pour boiling water on gelatin, stir until gelatin is dissolved.
  2. Measure reserved apricot syrup, add enough cold water to measure 1 cup.
  3. Stir syrup-water mixture and wine into gelatin.
  4. Pour into 4-cup ring mold.
  5. Refrigerate until firm, at least 5 hours.
  6. Mix apricot halves and grapes.
  7. Cover and refrigerate.
  8. Just before serving, dice banana; stir into apricot halves and grapes.
  9. Unmold gelatin, fill center and garnish side of ring with fruit.
