Banana Latte Smoothie Recipe
- 1 c. soy lowfat milk
- 3/4 c. strong-brewed coffee * see note or possibly espresso at room temperature or possibly chilled
- 2 x fresh ripe bananas frzn and sliced
- 6 x ice cubes (6 to 8)
- 1 tsp unsweetened cocoa pwdr for garnish
- 1/4 tsp grnd cinnamon for garnish Optional: note: I use decaf espresso
- Combine the soy lowfat milk and coffee in a blender.
- Add in the bananas.
- Blend till smooth.
- With the blender running, add in ice cubes till the desired consistency is reached.
- Pour into tall glasses and sprinkle with cocoa pwdr and cinnamon.
- (I also sprinkle with a tsp.
- of raw sugar.)
- Serves 2
