Cheesy Bacon & Red Pepper Egg Bake
- 1 loaf (16 oz.) sourdough bread, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
- 8 slices OSCAR MAYER Bacon, chopped Rite Aid 2 For $7.00 thru 02/06
- 1 small onion, chopped King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- 2 red peppers, chopped
- 8 KRAFT DELI DELUXE Process American Cheese Slices, halved diagonally
- 8 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Toast bread cubes in oven 10 min.
- or until lightly toasted.
- Meanwhile, cook bacon and onions in medium skillet until bacon is browned and onions are tender, stirring occasionally.
- Combine bread cubes, onion mixture and peppers.
- Spoon half the bread mixture into 13x9-inch baking dish sprayed with cooking spray; top with half the cheese slices.
- Repeat layers.
- Whisk eggs and milk in medium bowl until blended; pour over the bread mixture.
- (Bread cubes should be evenly moistened.)
- Bake 35 min.
- or until or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
- Let stand 5 min.
