Stout Dog Chili
- 32 ounces beef broth
- 2 lbs ground chuck
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 yellow onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 12 teaspoon cayenne
- 12 teaspoon ground allspice
- 6 ounces tomato paste
- 12 ounces stout beer, such as Guinness
- In a heavy bottom pot, like a dutch oven, heat pan on medium high.
- Brown beef.
- Halfway through browning, add chopped onion and minced garlic.
- Drain fat.
- Add all remaining ingredients and simmer for at least 20 minutes, covered.
