Easy and Delicious Sweet Onions with Cheese Miso

  1. Cut the sweet onion in half.
  2. Wrap each half in plastic wrap and steam in a steamer until the onion softens (About 20~30 minutes).
  3. Transfer the softened onions, juice and all, into a heat resistant dish, cover with dengaku miso and cheese, and bake in a toaster oven until the cheese melts.
