Memorial Clam Chowdah

  1. Melt butter, add minced veggies, saute 5 minutes.
  2. Add 1 cup water, cover, simmer until veggies are soft.
  3. Mix cayenne, salt, pepper and parsley; add to veggies.
  4. Add potatoes and clams.
  5. Mix flour and 1 cup water; add to veggies and stir 2 minutes.
  6. Add half-and-half and heat through, but do not boil.
  7. Stir while heating to thicken.
