Meat Loaf Wellington
- 1 12 lbs ground meat
- 1 cup small bread cubes
- 2 beef bouillon cubes dissolved in 1 cup boiling water
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 14 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 dash pepper
- 5 refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
- Mix 1/2 cup bouillon with bread cubes and add egg.
- Let stand about 5 minutes or until croutons are softened, beat until smooth and fluffy.
- Add meat, onion, salt and pepper.
- Shape into loaf.
- Place in shallow baking pan.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.
- Separate crescent rolls, place crosswise over top and down sides of loaf, overlapping slightly.
- Bake 15 minutes more.
