Simple Beef Stew
- 2 lbs beef stew meat, cut in 1 inch cubes
- 1 (14 ounce) can plum tomatoes, chopped but not drained
- 12 cup beef broth
- 12 cup red wine
- 2 medium onions, minced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 teaspoons dried Italian seasoning
- salt and pepper
- Combine all ingredients except salt and pepper in slow cooker; cover and cook on low 6-8 hours.
- Season to taste with salt and pepper.
