Gnocchi in Tomato Sauce

  1. Heat some butter and oil in a wide pan over medium high heat.
  2. Then, add gnocchi and fry for a minute
  3. Then, add pancetta and fry until pancetta is crispy and gnocchi are golden brown
  4. Next, add tomato passata and season (the seasoning I used is listed above).
  5. Turn off heat immediately when passata warms through or your gnocchi will become too soft
  6. Then, add sliced cheese.
  7. You can either broil the top or put a lid over the pan and the residual heat will melt the cheese.
  8. Enjoy :)
