Apricot Glazed Chicken Recipe

  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the apricot preserves, dressing, and dry soup mix till well blended.
  3. Arrange 3 of the chicken breast halves in the bottom of a 3 1/2 quarter electric slow cooker.
  4. Spoon a fourth of the apricot mix on top.
  5. Add in 3 more layers of chicken with the apricot mix in between and on top.

  7. Cover and cook on the high setting 1 hour.
  8. Reduce the heat setting to low and continue cooking, covered, 2 1/2 to 3 hrs, or possibly till the chicken is tender and white throughout; don't overcook or possibly the chicken will toughen.
  9. Serve the sauce over the chicken.
