Mostaccioli Broccoli Bake Recipe
- 2 3/4 c. mostaccioli or possibly penne macaroni
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/4 c. flour
- 2 c. lowfat milk
- 1/2 c. grated fresh Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- 1/8 teaspoon thyme
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- 3 c. cooked, liquid removed (cut up) broccoli
- 1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
- 1.
- Cook mostaccioli according to package directions.
- Drain.
- Rinse with cool water.

- In medium saucepan, heat butter.
- Stir in flour till blended.
- 3.
- Add in lowfat milk.
- Cook till thickened, stirring constantly.
- 4.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, garlic pwdr, thyme and nutmeg.
- Remove from heat.
- 5.
- In large bowl, combine mostaccioli, cheese sauce and broccoli.
- 6.
- Spoon into 12x9 inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle Swiss cheese over top.
- 7.
- Bake at 375 degrees F. for 10 to 15 min till thoroughly heated.
- Makes 12 accompaniment servings.
