Adrienne's Brussels Sprouts Recipe
- 1 lb Brussels sprouts
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- Juice of 2 limes
- Salt to taste
- Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste
- Trim the root ends of the sprouts, then cut them into quarters.
- Heat the butter and oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add in the Brussels sprouts and cook, partially covered, till tender, about 10 min.
- Raise the heat to high, add in the lime juice and salt and pepper to taste.
- Cook, stirring, till almost all of the lime juice has evaporated, about 2 to 3 min.
- This recipe yields 4 servings.
