Way Down South Beans, Rice, Meatballs And Gravy Recipe
- 1 pound little white beans
- Garlic clove
- 2 quarts. water
- Salt to taste
- Bastimi rice
- 1 pound lean grnd beef
- 1 tbsp. canola oil
- 2 tbsp. flour
- Lowfat milk
- Soak beans overnight, strain and cook on low for about 3 hrs.
- Oh, remember clove of garlic.
- Cook rice as directed.
- Fry grnd beef with 1 Tbsp.
- canola oil.
- Remove beef and get oil warm.
- Add in 2 Tbsp.
- flour and lowfat milk to make gravy.
- Stir in lowfat milk with fork till gravy thickens.
- Put beans over rice and beef over rice, smother in gravy.
