Chocolate Toffee Cookies

  1. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  2. In a separate microwavable bowl, heat the chocolate, butter, and 2 cups of the chocolate chips on High 1 1/2 - 3 minutes until melted, stirring twice.
  3. Cool until lukewarm.
  4. With a whisk, mix in eggs, one at a time, and the vanilla until smooth.
  5. Stir the flour mixture into the chocolate mixture just until blended, using a spoon.
  6. Stir in toffee bits and remaining chocolate chips.
  7. Drop by tablespoon or cookie scoop onto baking tray.
  8. Bake at 350F, 2 inches apart, for 10-11 minutes or until the tops are just set.
  9. Cool for 2 minutes before removing from the tray.
  10. Store tightly covered.
