Meat Loaf Stuffed With Carrots Recipe
- 1 1/2 pound finely grnd lamb meat
- 2 hard boiled Large eggs, sliced
- 4 sm. carrots, whole and boiled
- 1 tbsp. minced parsley
- 1 tbsp. flour
- 1/2 teaspoon allspice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 (8 ounce.) can tomato sauce
- 1 can water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon allspice
- Mix meat with flour, salt, and allspice.
- Knead together very well.
- Flatten out meat mix into 4 rectangles about 4 inches by 6 inches.
- Place 1 carrot whole and 1/2 of sliced Large eggs and sprinkle with parsley on each rectangle.
- Roll up jelly roll style and seal all edges and smooth out with wet hands.
- Put 1 can tomato sauce, 1 can of water, 1 tsp.
- salt, 1 tsp.
- allspice in large pot and bring to boil.
- Drop in stuffed individual meat loaves and cook for about 15 min.
- Remove meat loaves.
- Cold.
- Refrigerateand then slice into 1/2 inch slices.
- Place on platter and serve with warm tomato sauce.
