Boopie's Linguine With Clam Sauce Recipe
- 1/4 stick butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon basil
- 1/2 c. fresh minced parsley
- 1 lg. can of crushed tomatoes
- 1 sm. can tomato sauce
- 1/2 sm. can of water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 can Roland small whole clams
- Saute/fry garlic in butter.
- Gradually add in tomato sauce, water and crushed tomatoes, blend.
- Add in basil, salt, pepper and simmer 15 min.
- Add in minced parsley and simmer for an additional 1/2 hour covered.
- Prepare linguine in boiling salted water.
- Immediately before serving drain clams and add in to sauce.
- Serve over pasta.
