Summer Lettuce Salad with Buttermilk Dressing

  1. Divide the lettuce onto 4 chilled luncheon plates.
  2. Top each serving with peas.
  3. Drizzle dressing over salads.
  4. Stir together the mustard, vinegar, brown sugar, salt, paprika, and red pepper in a pint jar with a tight-fitting lid.
  5. Add the buttermilk; cover and shake until combined.
  6. Yield: about 1 cup
