Beefy Baked Beans
- 2 oz. Canadian bacon, chopped
- 1/2 lb. extra lean ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1/2 c. tomato sauce
- 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp. molasses
- 2 tsp. apple cider
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 1 tsp. black pepper
- 1/2 tsp. chili powder
- 1 (15 oz.) can butter beans, drained
- 1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans, drained
- 2 (15 oz.) cans Northern beans, drained
- Saute bacon in a large skillet until slightly brown.
- Add ground beef and onion and cook until beef is fully browned and onion is translucent.
- Drain off any fat in pan and pour mixture into a 3
- or 4-quart baking dish.
- Stir all remaining ingredients into baking dish and bake at 350u0b0 for 1 hour.
- Makes 8 cups, 8 to 10 servings.
