Hot Sangria Punch
- 1 L (4 cups) low-calorie cranberry juice cocktail
- 1 L (4 cups) water
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 piece gingerroot (2 inch), peeled, sliced
- 8 whole cloves
- 1 pouch Crystal Light Tangerine Grapefruit Low Calorie Drink Mix
- 1 navel orange, thinly sliced Safeway 1 lb For $0.79 thru 02/09
- 1/2 cup frozen cranberries, thawed
- Cook first 5 ingredients in saucepan on medium-low heat 20 min., stirring occasionally.
- (Do not let mixture boil.)
- Remove cinnamon sticks, ginger and cloves with slotted spoon; discard.
- Remove pan from heat.
- Add drink mix to juice cocktail mixture; stir until mix is completely dissolved.
- Stir in oranges.
- Spoon cranberries into 8 mugs; fill with prepared drink.
