Grand Mariner Mousse Recipe
- 6 egg whites
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. Grand Mariner Liquor
- 1 1/2 c. whipping cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Grated zest of 3 oranges
- Chocolate shavings (garnish)
- Beat egg whites and cream of tartar till frothy.
- Add in sugar gradually and beat till stiff but not dry.
- Place whipping cream in chilled bowl, add in vanilla and beat till stiff.
- Gently mix in zest and Grand Mariner.
- Gently mix in egg white mix and spoon into a glass bowl.
- Cover with plastic wrap and freeze overnight.
- Remove to room temperature for 10 min before serving.
