Creamy Chive & Onion Meatballs
- 1 lb. extra-lean ground beef Safeway 1 lb For $3.99 thru 02/09
- 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup (1/2 of 8-oz. tub) PHILADELPHIA Chive & Onion Cream Cheese Spread
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 2 cups CLASSICO Tomato and Basil Pasta Sauce
- 1 cup water
- 3 cups hot cooked egg noodles
- Mix meat, bread crumbs and cream cheese spread just until blended; shape into 24 meatballs, using about 2 Tbsp.
- for each.
- Heat oil in large nonstick skillet on medium heat.
- Add meatballs; cook 5 to 6 min.
- or until evenly browned, turning occasionally.
- Drain meatballs; return to skillet.
- Add pasta sauce and water to meatballs; stir to evenly coat meatballs.
- Simmer on medium-low heat 10 to 15 min.
- or until meatballs are done (160 degrees F), stirring frequently.
- Serve noodles topped with meatballs and sauce.
