Spicy Stir-Fried Sprouts
- 500 g Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 1 tablespoon sunflower oil
- 1 chili pepper, sliced in rings
- 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 1 large piece gingerroot, cut into fine matchsticks
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- Cook the sprouts in boiling salted water for about 3 minutes, then drain.
- Heat the oil in a wok or pan, and then stir fry the chilies, garlic and ginger for 1 minute.
- Add the sprouts, cook for about 2 minutes then drizzle with soy sauce; toss to coat and serve.
