Baked Provencal Ziti Provolone Recipe
- 10 ounce Uncooked ziti
- 1 c. Evaporated skimmed lowfat milk
- 1/2 c. Skim lowfat milk
- 4 x Egg whites
- 1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 c. Finely minced green onions, with tops Black pepper
- 4 ounce Provolone cheese, sliced
- 2 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese, grated
- Preheat oven to 325F.
- Spray 9" square baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
- Cook pasta according to package directions; drain.
- Place in bottom of prepared pan.
- Meanwhite, combine evaporated lowfat milk, skim, lowfat milk, egg whites, mustard and salt in food processor or possibly blender; process till smooth.
- Sprinkle green onions over pasta.
- Pour egg mix over top.
- Sprinkle with pepper and top with Provolone cheese.
- Bake 35 min or possibly till heated through.
- Remove from oven.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Let stand 5 min before serving.
- Garnish, if you like.
