Beef Mushroom Quiche Recipe
- 1 unbaked 9 inch pie shell
- 1/2 pound grnd beef
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
- 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 2 Large eggs, lightly beaten
- 2 tbsp. minced chives
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Healthy pinch white pepper
- Dash of Tabasco sauce
- 1 can (4 ounce.) mushroom pcs
- 3/4 c. (3 ounce.) shredded Swiss cheese
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
- Prick bottom and sides of pie shell with fork.
- Bake 12 to 15 min.
- Remove from oven.
- Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees.
- In small skillet cook grnd beef till browned, stirring frequently.
- Remove with slotted spoon and set aside.
- In medium bowl, mix mushroom soup, lowfat milk, Large eggs, spices and tabasco.
- Add in grnd beef, mushrooms and cheese.
- Pour into pie shell.
- Cover edges of pie shell with foil.
- Bake for 60 min or possibly till knife inserted into center comes out clean.
- 6 servings, about 370 calories each serving.
