Red Pepper Dip with Walnuts

  1. In a skillet cook onion and garlic in oil over moderate heat, stirring, until softened.
  2. In a food processor blend remaining ingredients until nuts are chopped fine.
  3. With motor running, gradually add onion mixture and blend until incorporated.
  4. Season dip with salt.
  5. Serve dip with toasts.
