Dried Fruit Pie Recipe
- 4 c. water
- 3 c. assorted dry fruits
- 2 tbsp. soy oil butter
- 1/4 c. whole wheat flour
- 1 c. minced nuts
- 1 partially baked whole wheat pie shell
- Bring water and fruit to a boil.
- Reduce the heat and simmer till sauce is thick.
- Stir in butter and flour.
- Remove from heat, and stir in minced nuts.
- Blend half of mix at a time in a blender.
- Pour into a partially baked pie shell, and bake for 20 min at 350 degrees.
- The pie looks like a dark molasses pie when done.
