Curry Flavored Potato, Ground Meat and Chinese Chive Stir Fry
- 1 medium Japanese sweet potato
- 80 grams Ground meat (mixed beef and pork)
- 1/2 bunch Chinese chives
- 1/2 tbsp Sesame oil
- 1 dash Garlic
- 1 dash Ginger
- 1 tsp Sake
- 1/2 tsp Curry powder
- 1 tsp Japanese Worcestershire-style sauce
- 1/2 tsp Soy sauce
- 1 Salt and pepper
- Cut the sweet potato into 1 cm dice and put in a bowl of water.
- Drain, and microwave for 2 minutes at 500 W until tender.
- Cut the chives into 3 cm pieces.
- Heat the sesame oil in a frying pan and saute the garlic and ginger until fragrant.
- Add the ground meat and cook.
- Add the drained sweet potato, cover with a lid and let it steam.
- Add the sake halfway through the cooking process and stir in, then re-cover and continue cooking.
- When the sweet potato is tender, add the ingredients to season.
- Add the chives near the end.
- When they have wilted the dish is done.
