Curry Flavored Potato, Ground Meat and Chinese Chive Stir Fry

  1. Cut the sweet potato into 1 cm dice and put in a bowl of water.
  2. Drain, and microwave for 2 minutes at 500 W until tender.
  3. Cut the chives into 3 cm pieces.
  4. Heat the sesame oil in a frying pan and saute the garlic and ginger until fragrant.
  5. Add the ground meat and cook.
  6. Add the drained sweet potato, cover with a lid and let it steam.
  7. Add the sake halfway through the cooking process and stir in, then re-cover and continue cooking.
  8. When the sweet potato is tender, add the ingredients to season.
  9. Add the chives near the end.
  10. When they have wilted the dish is done.
