Stuffed Shells with Feta Cheese and Beef
- 1/2 cups Diced Onions (optional)
- 1 Tablespoon Garlic, Minced
- 1/2 pounds Ground Beef
- 1- 1/2 cup Feta Cheese
- 2 cups Spaghetti Sauce
- 8 whole Large Pasta Shells
- Add onions, garlic and beef into a saucepan and cook on medium heat until beef is browned.
- Drain grease if necessary.
- Mix in 1 cup of the feta cheese and 1/2 cup of the spaghetti sauce and heat on low.
- Boil a pot of water, and cook shells according to package instructions.
- Drain and place on piece of wax paper to cool.
- Preheat oven to 350 F. Spoon some sauce on the bottom of a baking pan (big enough to fit all of the shells).
- When cool enough to handle, spoon filling inside each shell and place each shell into the pan, filling side down.
- Top with remaining sauce and sprinkle with the remaining 1/2 cup feta cheese.
- Cover with a sheet of foil.
- Cook, covered for about 20 minutes.
- At that point you can remove the foil and cook uncovered for an additional 10 minutes if desired.
- Spoon onto serving plates, serve with warm bread if desired and enjoy!
- You have dinner.
