Chocolate Caramel Apples Recipe
- 6 wooden skewers or possibly ice cream sticks
- 6 med. to sm. apples
- 1/2 c. minced nuts
- 1/4 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 tbsp. water
- 1 (14 ounce.) pkg. caramels
- Insert skewers in stem end of each apple.
- Divide nuts into 6 mounds on wax paper.
- Heat chocolate chips, water and caramels over low heat.
- Dip each apple into chocolate mix, spooning mix over apple till completely coated.
- Roll each in nuts.
- Let stand till coating is hard.
- Makes 6 apples.
