Chocolate Cheesecake Bars

  1. Heat oven to 350F (180C).
  2. CRUST: Combine graham cracker crumbs and brown sugar.
  3. Stir in butter flavor crisco.
  4. Press into an ungreased 8 x 8 x 2 pan.
  5. Bake at 350F (180C) for 10 minutes.
  6. FILLING: Beat cream cheese in a small bowl at medium speed until smooth.
  7. Add other ingredients ( sugar, cocoa, eggs, flour and vanilla ), ONE AT A TIME.
  8. Mix well after each addition.
  9. Pour over baked crust.
  10. Bake at 350F (180C) for 30 minutes.
  11. Cool to room temperature.
  12. TOPPING: Cream Butter Flavor Crisco and cream cheese in a small bowl at medium speed until well blended.
  13. Add confectioners sugar and vanilla.
  14. Spread over surface of cooled cheesecake.
  15. Cut into bars about 2 x 1 1/2 inches.
  16. Refrigerate.
