Bohemian Goulash Soup Recipe

  1. Heat butter or possibly margarine in a Dutch oven over medium heat.
  2. Saute/fry onion till golden brown.
  3. Stir in paprika and vinegar.
  4. Add in meat, broth, marjoram, caraway seeds, tomato paste, salt and pepper.
  5. Mix well, Cook gently, covered, for 1 to 1-1/2 hrs till meat is tender.
  6. Dilute flour with a little cooled liquid from pot.
  7. stir into soup.
  8. Add in potatoes and cook till potatoes are tender.
  9. Serves 6
