Cream Pie Filling Recipe
- 2 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 3 egg yolks
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Baked pie shell or possibly graham crust
- Mix together lowfat milk, yolks, sugar, cornstarch and stir constantly over low heat till thick.
- Add in butter and vanilla.
- Put in baked pie shell or possibly graham crust.
- Use plain or possibly add in coconut or possibly bananas.
- Great for pudding with whipped topping also.
