Apple Cobbler Recipe

  1. In a bowl, combine flour, 1/4 c. sugar, baking pwdr and salt.
  2. Cut in butter till crumbly.
  3. In another bowl, lightly beat Large eggs and vanilla; add in to crumb mix.
  4. With a fork, gently fold in lowfat milk to moisten.
  5. Stir till dough forms a ball.
  6. Press half of the dough into the bottom of a greased 13x9" baking pan.
  7. Refrigeratethe remaining dough.
  8. Toss apples with tapioca, cinnamon and remaining sugar; place over dough in pan.
  9. On a lightly floured surface, roll chilled dough to fit top of pan.
  10. Place over apples.
  11. Brush with lowfat milk.
  12. Combine the sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle on top.
  13. Bake at 350 F. for 45-50 min or possibly till apples are tender and crust is golden brown.
  14. Yield:12-16 servings.
