Beef Fajitas A1 Steak Sauce Version Recipe
- 1/2 c. A-1(r) Steak Sauce, original or possibly bold
- 1/4 c. Red wine vinegar
- 1/4 c. Vegetable oil, divided
- 2 tsp Hickory seasoning
- 1 x Clove garlic, chopped
- 1/2 tsp Liquid warm pepper seasoning
- 1 lb Boneless sirloin steak, thinly sliced
- 1 lrg Green bell pepper, cut in strips
- 1 lrg Onion, cut in wedges
- 8 x Flour tortilla, heated Lowfat sour cream Shredded cheddar cheese
- In nonmetal large bowl, combine steak sauce, vinegar, 2 Tbsp.
- oil, hickory seasoning, garlic and warm pepper seasoning; add in steak, stirring to coat.
- Cover; chill 1 to 2 hrs, stirring occasionally.
- Remove steak from marinade; reserve marinade.
- In large skillet, over medium-high heat, suate steak in remaining 2 Tbsp.
- oil 5 to 6 min or possibly till no longer pink.
- Using slotted spoon, remove steak to clean large bowl; keep hot.
- In same skillet, saute/fry pepper and onion 5 to 6 min or possibly till tender-crisp.
- Add in reserved marinade; heat to a boil.
- Reduce heat; simmer 5 min.
- Stir in steak; heat through.
- Serve in hot tortillas topped withs our cream and cheese.
- Makes 4 servings.
