Foil Burgers

  1. Line a sheet pan with foil - for easy clean-up.
  2. Lightly spray with cooking spray.
  3. Place ground beef in center of foil.
  4. Prep veggies.
  5. Peel carrots and rinse them and the potatoes.
  6. Slice in uniform sizes, so that they all cook for the same time.
  7. Thinly slice the pepper and onion.
  8. Place veggies around beef and add the few dashes of Worchester sauce.
  9. Pull sides of foil up to form a package.
  10. I didn't have Worchester Sauce so I used a little beef stock.
  11. Bake in a 350F oven for about 45 mins.
  12. Check for doneness on the veggies and make sure the beef is cooked thru.
  13. Depending on the size of the veggies and the thickness of the burger, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
  14. USE CAUTION when you open the packs up.
  15. There will be steam and hot juices.
  16. I don't do a lot of peppers and onions, so I leave them off.
  17. I make my patties like small meatloaves....I add mushrooms, cheddar and some parmesan, then just fold it over and re-shape it.
